Welcome to the life and times of the Great Rock Eater! I hope you enjoy reading about my fabulous life as a retired Hooters girl and eater of all things edible and not so edible. I look forward to sharing my adventures with all of my puggy friends and their families.
Happy Monday Everyone!! Hope your week is starting off on the right paw!!!
Today, I need to ask for the Power of the Paw for some friends of ours. There have been some issues among the bloggers and a non-blogger and they need our thoughts!!
First up is sweet Anakin! He ate some chicken bones last week and had to have emergency surgery. A few days after surgery, he had some complications and had to go back in to the vet. The vet put a straw in his belly to help get all of the yuck out. Saturday, he got his straw taken out. His next milestone was to poop on his own! As of this morning, poor Anakin hadn't pooped so he was on his way back to the vet. He needs all of the love and thoughts that we can send him. Fingers and paws crossed!!
Next up is Gunther!! He had to go the emergency vet on Sunday with a pain. His momma said it is either a pulled muscle or pancreatitis. Whatever it is, we hope is back to his old self soon!! I can't be the only one on here that eats stuffs!! =) We're sending pug love and kisses to Gunther.
Last but not least, is Reggie. Reggie is not a blogger, but his momma is a friend of ours so we are putting out the call for the paw. Reggie woke up Thursday morning paralyzed. Neither his momma or his vet are quite sure what's causing it. They think either a slipped disc or maybe some swelling around the spine. He has had some steroid treatments and he gained a little movement of his head, but that's all. He is going tomorrow for some laser treatments to hopefully reduce the swelling. Reggie and his family need all the prayers and good thoughts that we can send them right now.
We all know there's nothing scarier for parents than not knowing what's wrong with their furbabies!! So if we can all pull together and put the Power of the Paw to work for these three puggies, that would be outstanding. You can leave your well wishes for Gunther and Anankin on their blogs and for Reggie, just direct all those positive thoughts toward Indianapolis and I'm sure he'll get them!!!
If we all pull together, we can accomplish anything!!
POWER of the PAW!!!!!
Until next time. . . . . Pugs, Hugs & Kisses XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
