11 Plate Salute!!!

Greetings fellow bloggers!! It is with tear stained fur that I type this post. I'm not sure who's cried more, me or the momma. By now, I'm sure most of you have heard about the tremendous loss the blogging world suffered on Friday. The amazing beefy, sexy Penny crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She'd had some health problems of late and they finally became to much for her poor little pug body to take. The momma and I find it pretty amazing how close we have gotten to all of blogger friends even though there are so many we have never met nose to tail!! The momma and I are truly grateful to all of the wonderful people and pugs we have met since we started blogging!!

So please take a moment to go visit Penny's momma Dana as she goes through this difficult time!!!

Now on with the tribute!!

Anyone who knew Penny, knew she was addicted to whippy cream!! So The Posse and I thought that there was no better way to pay tribute to our sweet Penny than to hit the whippy cream. The momma was trying to work out the logistics of giving 11 grieving pugs each a pup cup and realized that just wasn't feasible. So instead she made up 11 plates of that wonderful, white fluff and let us go at it!! We're sure Miss Penny was quite amused watching us all go after those plates. I know we certainly were happy!!!

It's not Starbucks, but it was still good!!!!

Pugsley's not much for crowds, so he enjoyed his plate of whip on the back of the couch!!

OOOOHHHH!!!! Look at all those plates of whippy cream!!!!

We all enjoyed our tribute to Penny!!!

I proudly display my whippy cream goatee!!!

Since Madie wasn't with us at the Posse's house last night, the momma let us do another tribute to sweet Penny!!! Madie and I enjoyed our whip cream and thought of her!!!

MMMMMMM...... Good to the last drop!!!

With a heavy heart, Until next time. . . . .

Pugs, Hugs & Kisses
XOXOXOXOXOXO

Look at all the pugs and whip cream. What a salute!

Most of us have never met face to face, but the bond we all share through our blogs is one of shear strength. Penny's loss has shown just how strong of a blogging community we have. It is wonderful to see all the responses and tributes to little Penny. The sympathy and support we have all offered to Dana simply demonstrates the true friendships we have developed and we owe it all to our little pugs, for without them would we have ever gotten to know one another?

I know Penny has a big smile on her little face right now.

We didn't know Penny but when we read about her at Emmitt's, we did pay her family a visit and pawed our sympathy. We are sure she was smiling at all of you with your whipped cream from across the Rainbow Bridge.
