Power of the Paw!!!

Happy Monday Everyone!! Hope your week is starting off on the right paw!!!

Today, I need to ask for the Power of the Paw for some friends of ours. There have been some issues among the bloggers and a non-blogger and they need our thoughts!!

First up is sweet Anakin! He ate some chicken bones last week and had to have emergency surgery. A few days after surgery, he had some complications and had to go back in to the vet. The vet put a straw in his belly to help get all of the yuck out. Saturday, he got his straw taken out. His next milestone was to poop on his own! As of this morning, poor Anakin hadn't pooped so he was on his way back to the vet. He needs all of the love and thoughts that we can send him. Fingers and paws crossed!!

Next up is Gunther!! He had to go the emergency vet on Sunday with a pain. His momma said it is either a pulled muscle or pancreatitis. Whatever it is, we hope is back to his old self soon!! I can't be the only one on here that eats stuffs!! =) We're sending pug love and kisses to Gunther.

Last but not least, is Reggie. Reggie is not a blogger, but his momma is a friend of ours so we are putting out the call for the paw. Reggie woke up Thursday morning paralyzed. Neither his momma or his vet are quite sure what's causing it. They think either a slipped disc or maybe some swelling around the spine. He has had some steroid treatments and he gained a little movement of his head, but that's all. He is going tomorrow for some laser treatments to hopefully reduce the swelling. Reggie and his family need all the prayers and good thoughts that we can send them right now.

We all know there's nothing scarier for parents than not knowing what's wrong with their furbabies!! So if we can all pull together and put the Power of the Paw to work for these three puggies, that would be outstanding. You can leave your well wishes for Gunther and Anankin on their blogs and for Reggie, just direct all those positive thoughts toward Indianapolis and I'm sure he'll get them!!!

If we all pull together, we can accomplish anything!!

POWER of the PAW!!!!!

Until next time. . . . .
Pugs, Hugs & Kisses

XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Dearest Lilo,
Anakin's Mommy here!

What a very kind and thoughtful Post you did today for your friends. Your pawrents I'm sure are really proud of you.
I heard that you had a rock in your tummy too a while ago. You have been through it too haven't you? I am glad you are all better and that you are a friend of my little puggies.
Anakin had a big day at the vets and he is Zzzzzz right now. I will send him over to play when he wakes up.
Izzy and Josie are up to something...Something about a club?? Do you know something about this?? Hmmmmm...
I will say a prayer from our dear friend Gunther and his sweet Mommy Shannon. They have been so kind to us as well as everyone during our ordeal.
I will also say a pray for your dear friend Reggie.
What a very caring and campassionate friend you are!!
Love,
Anakin's Mommy
Tell your Mommy hello too!

Thank you Lilo for telling us about what's going on with our friends. I was wondering what happened with Gunther cuz I saw someone on his blog wishing him well. I sure hope he feels better soon. Not sure how Anakin did at the vet, but I hope that poop came already, he loves to poop. We will all keep your friend Reggie in our thoughts too.

Hi Lilo the Queen of rock eaters! You are the sweetest for posting about everyone, including our Gunther man. He's feeling much better thanks to our regular vet. He's got a sprain in his back muscles. We're gonna update our blog.
Your poor friend Reggie. That would be very scary. Please tell them we are thinking about them. There have been a lot of frenchies that have come into rescue immobile and it turned out to be a slipped disk. With a steroid treatment and even surgery they were okay. Tell them not to give up hope.

Love,
Stella, Gunther and Betty

Hi, Lilo!
Thank you for dropping by my blog.
It's nice to meet you!

It is really, really, scary if our humans don't know what's wrong with our body...

I hope all of them feel better.

Wow - the power of the paw is AWESOME. Thank you so much, all of you, for thinking of my dear sweet Reggie, and my family, as we deal with this. It has been a very emotional week for us, and continues to be...so far we have not seen any improvement for Reggie, but we are still early in the treatments, and we remain hopeful that he will be able to move again. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers - it means so much.
