A Travesty & Pay It Forward Winners

I know this post is supposed to be to announce the Pay It Forward winners, but I must first expose the travesty that has taken place in my home this day!!! I, and Madie, was cast out of our home tonight!!!

While we sat outside on the cold, hard concrete, the cat was allowed to stay in the house and taunt us!!!!
Do you see how he mocks me?!?!?! Sitting there so righteously like he's special or something!!
He didn't even flinch when Madie joined me at the door. He continued to sneer at us and swish his tail arrogantly. When I voiced my opinion about this exile, the momma muttered something about trying to clean the kitchen and that the fresh air wouldn't kill us. HA!!! What does she know? We suffered I tell you!!!!!!!!

Now, on to the winners of the Pay It Forward!!! The momma put the names of everyone who commented onto strips of paper and put them in a pile for me to chose.

The only problem was that Madie thought she should be able to help pick the names!

I tried to tell the momma that this was my blog and that only I was allowed to pick the names. I would be a fraud if I told people that I picked the names when really Madie did it. I can't lie to my friends!!!!!

The momma reminded me that I have to be nice and share sometimes. So we struck a deal. Madie got to pick 3 names and I got to pick 3 names. The momma said that was fair, but I don't see how cause we didn't do it my way!!

But, there is no arguing with the momma. So Madie picked out 3 and I picked out 3.

Then we both brought the momma examples of what we think should go into the gift boxes. The momma said she will take our suggestions into consideration. In momma speak, that means thanks, but I'll so what I want!!!!

Pay It Forward part 2

What's this? Another package for me!!!!! Oh heavens, who could it be from?!?!?!?!

It's from our good friend Clover from Sunshine & Mudpuddles!!!!! We played Pay It Forward with her too!

The momma let e tear it open all, mostly, by myself!! I'm a big girl now!!!

Momma stood by patiently just in case I needed help with anything.

Never fear, I got that box out of there!

I tried to do it all on my own, but the momma had to open the box for me. That whole no thumbs thing was a problem.

OMD!!!! Is that what I think it is?!?!?!?!?!?

Another STUFFIE!!!!!!! This one looks like a chocolate covered strawberry!! Mmmmmmmm

Clover also sent me a bag of treats. The momma was tickled when she realized that the treat bag was in English and French. We are so used to seeing things in English and Spanish.

After some digging, I also found a card and a gift certificate for my Punchy dress from Pugpossessed!!!

I was so excited about the treats and the new stuffie, that the momma had to take the box away from me so she could get a picture of everything.

I know the momma already posted the pictures of me in my Punchy dress, but I made her include one of me walking the red carpet in my fabulous dress!!!!

A big THANK YOU to Clover for letting us play Pay It Forward with her!!! I am so looking forward to see who will be playing with me!!!

Remember, on Friday night, the momma will put the names of everyone that commented into my bowl and let me pick out the 6 people we will invite to play Pay It Forward with us. I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!

Wordless Wednesday

Pay It Forward part 1

Mom here. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get my Pay It Forwards posted. WIth the internet issues and transferring files from the old laptop to the new one, some photo files got misplaced. But we're good to go now. Thanks for your patience.

Now that the momma is done hoggin' the blog, it's my turn =)

I was so excited when the momma walked in with a package. I knew right away it was for me and I gave her 'the look' to let her know I would not be sharing!!

I checked the label and sure enough, it was from Herbie, Ricky, Nixon and Fatty from Purs n' Snorts!!!!!

After much pulling, pawing and stern growling, it finally came open!!!

STUFFIES!!!!! OMG!!! They got me stuffies!!! I've never had a stuffie!! This is so wonderful!! The momma and daddy tried getting me stuffies when I first came home, but Madie has that killer instinct and my first stuffie was 'dead' in 5 minutes. So we got no more stuffies after that.

But that's all changed now, because I have not 1 . . .

not 2 . . .

but 3 new stuffies!!!!!!

Do you see them?? Three new stuffies just for me =) I was so excited I could barely sit still for the momma to take a pictuer of me with all of my stuff. The Purs n' Snorts gang also sent the momma a picture frame charm with a picture of me for her wear so she can never forget me. As if that's possible =)

After pictures, the momma left me in the big bed to play with my new stuffies. I was so excited, I didn't know where to start. I was in stuffie heaven!!! (Mom here: she started with the dolphin stuffie and had the belly pulled open and squeaker exposed in under 10 minutes =) The dolphin has since had a tummy tuck to put things back in order)

Thank you so much to the gang at Purs n' Snorts!!! I am so glad we played with you and I can't wait to make someone elses day the way you all made mine!!!

Now normally, I would take the first three puppy pals that left comments to play Pay It Forward wit me, but as the TN Bull Terrors pointed out, not all of our friends will get the chance to read it at the same time. Plus, the momma is posting our Pay It Forward part 2 on Thursday. So we are going to take a page from the Terrors and do drawing. The momma will wait until Friday night so everyone will have a chance to see both posts and then she will take everone's names and put them in a bowl and let me draw. We will post on Saturday who our Pay It Forward pals will be!!!!

Wonderful Weekend!!!!

So Saturday was the was the KPR 500 Festival of Pugs fundraiser!!!! We went and spent the day with the Pug Posse and the Pugs Strike Back. We had a lot of fun and raised money for a good cause.

I entered a few of the contests. I entered the Best Shedder contest and came in dead last. I was soundly beat by our good friend Pippin. He shedded a puppy or two!!! I also entered the Popsicle Eating contest and again got beat. I don't understand why I have eat it on the stick =(

Last but not least, the momma entered me in the Costume Contest.

I dressed up as the magnificent Minnie Pearl in a FABULOUS dress and hat by Punchy at Pugpossessed. The momma picked out the dress from Punchy's Etsy shop with a gift certificate from our wonderful friend Clover!!!!

I was the prettiest, prettiest pug if I do say so myself!! I worked the red carpet like a pro and won the hearts of the wonderful judges!!!

The momma also bought me a new harness and 5, yes 5, new collars from Sew Doggone Cute!!! They have such cute patterns and momma loves their stuff. I will be one stylin pug =) I don't have as many as Brutus yet, but I'm working on it =)

They always have lots of fun raffles to raise money for the puggies and this time, the momma won the bestest basket!!! They raffled off a basket that had a picture by Emmitt's mommy Melissa!!!! It has the black pug licking the fawn pug =) I'm pretty sure the momma dropped about half of her tickets into that one bag. The momma was so happy!!!

After a long, but wonderful day, I was wiped out. I was so tired, that I didn't even let the momma take my dress off before I passed out.

I slept all the way home. After unloading the car and grabbing my dinner, we headed to the Posses house to hang so the parents could have dinner and we puggies could rest.

On Sunday, the momma, daddy and the Posse parents went to the State Fair. Unfortunately, they do not allow puggies at the fair. The momma figured since we had already been kicked out of one fair, we probably shouldn't push our luck. But I was good hanging at home with Madie and the kitties. It was to darn hot out there for a pug!!! I like my air conditioning, thank you very much =)

They had a hot, but fun day. The daddy tried the new fair food this year, chocolate covered bacon. I guess that's one way to keep the puggies from eating all the bacon =P The daddy said it was good, the momma just shook her head.

The momma and I wrapped up a wonderful weekend with me drooling on her tummy while she at some cashews. Can't believe she didn't share!!! Kept mumbling something about not sure if they were good for me or not. What is she talking about, everything is good for me!!!!!

Hope all of our friends had a great weekend. Please send lots of Pug love and kisses to Hank's sister Molly O'Mally. She had to have emergency surgery last night!!!! She is at home recovering. So Hank, you be nice to her!!! =)
